Jay's Sticky Beans

This is a simple recipe to enhance your baked beans in the mornings!
Serves 1


1 serving of tinned baked beans in tomato sauce

1 tsp ground black peppercorns

2-3 tsp - Cornflour (either sifted or mixed with water to make a smooth paste)

1 heaped tsp - Demerara sugar

2-3  glugs  - Balsamic Vinegar


In a suitable small pan start to cook the tinned baked beans for a couple of minutes
(after initially dry frying some ground black peppercorns in the same pan )

Add the Cornflour, and stir in.
Add the Demerara sugar & stir in.
After a minute add the Balsamic Vinegar & cook for 5 mins. until the sauce thickens & become sticky.
